11.  Will freelancers be expected to have their own AutoCAD license, or can they remote into our office and use ours?

Freelancers are expected to indicate in their profile whether or not they have an AutoCAD license. What you require from there is entirely up to you as a firm — there's no platform-mandated standard. You can set that expectation in your arrangement with the freelancer directly.

12.  Does GigBench provide file transfer, or will we use our own?

For freelancers:

File transfer is handled directly through the GigBench portal. All communication and document sharing is tracked within the platform, keeping everything organized and project-specific. You don't need to use external tools.

13.  Can we elect a lump sum instead of an hourly rate for a particular job?

Yes. If the project description gives you enough comfort to price it as a lump sum, you can select that option. A planned enhancement will also allow for partial payments on lump sum projects, so you'll be able to break those into installments — weekly, monthly, or however you and the firm agree to structure it in the contract.
